Drop Scones
- 125g self-raising flour (or normal flour and a spoon of baking powder)
- 25g melted butter
- 25g caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 125 ml milk
- pinch of salt
Mix dry ingredients together. Mix in the egg, then the milk and melted butter. A creamy, thick batter is right - stop adding milk when you have achieved that. You might not need all the milk.
Fry in a bit of sunflower oil. Serve with a bit of butter and fresh fruit.
