French Pie Base (Tarte)
- 150g flour
- 30g sugar
- 75g unsalted butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 10cl milk
- vanilla extract
Mix sugar, flour + butter until crumbly. Add milk, yolk and vanilla extract. Knead into a ball, cover with cling film and put into the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Roll out, lay into dish, put into the fridge for another hour.
Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes without anything on the pie, add fruit, bake for another 8 to 10 minutes.
