Meatloaf
No, there is not bloody egg in the middle. If you like hard-boiled eggs, put one in, I don't like them
- 1kg beef mince
- 2 eggs
- 6 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 2 medium size cloves of garlic
- fresh oregano and basil, about one tbsp each chopped up (dried if you don't have it fresh)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp mustard (I like Dijon mustard)
- 1 tsp chili paste
- 2 grated onions
- 3 cm grated ginger
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Mix everything together until smooth. Put in a baking form. Put into the oven for 90 @ 180 degrees. (A meatloaf half the size will be done in 45 minutes).
After 3/4 of the cooking time, take out of the baking form and roast on a rack. You can also put some BBQ sauce on top of the meatloaf at this point of time.
